Kelly Smith after a successful weekend over in Europe, comes back to the US and then fly’s to California to finish his deal with Moto XXX. Kelly in his European weekend finished 3rd^rd durin one main event and in the second main event Kelly suffered a flat tire which obviously hurt his results. Kelly, in one of his best finishes, actually caught and passed the current AMA 125 outdoor champion Mike Brown. Asked if he gets nervous when he comes up to a rider like Mike Brown whose reputation as an agressive rider and not mention that he happens to be extremely fast, what does Kelly do to pass him during the race? Kelly said, “I knew I was faster than him all night. So when I caught him I had the confidence to pass him. I am not intimidated by anyone.”

Look for Kelly to be on the podium this year with results like he had in Europe.
